"Extremely professional and nice"

I called J&E over a week ago for an emergency leak in my boiler and they came to fix it right away the next day and made sure it was done correctly. Donna and the company Owner Joe were extremely professional and nice. Glad my family didn't have to stay in the cold for too long.

I have had a GREAT experience with J & E Plumbing. Not only are they professional in all aspects of the work performed, but they also respond to calls, and inquiries and always arrive at the time they say they will be at my home. That means a lot since we all have busy schedules of our own. And I point out the fact that they respond because all so often, tradespeople do not respond to requests or calls. J & E has a great staff working for them. Miguel is the gentleman I have been dealing with and he always responds with information and has taken care of everything, perfectly, doing great, clean work for us. J&E Plumbing and Heating was very responsive and quickly sent a technician, Miguel, to our home on the same day to fix a clogged kitchen sink. Miguel was very personable and obviously knowledgeable in his craft. The clog would not clear after 3 different attempts - luckily Miguel stuck with it and eventually came up with a solution and cleared the clog! He was very candid with me and provided plenty of tips to prevent this from happening in the future. Despite using a different LI plumbing company for the last 3 years, I would definitely move forward with using J&E Plumbing and Miguel in the future. I would recommend this company to friends and family.

"Very knowledgeable and patient"

A few weeks after American water installed a new meter in our basement, our main water shutoff no longer worked. We were able to turn the knob but it did not turn the water off. We called J&E and Miguel showed up and took a look. He asked us to have the water company locate the main water shutoff at the curb since there it wasn’t already visible and to then give him a call. We called him back after this was done and he came and installed a new water shutoff valve in the basement. He was efficient and his work was very good and he cleaned up after himself. He takes pride in what he does and took the time to ensure all water fixtures in the house worked like before. He answered all our questions and was very patient with us. He is very knowledgeable and is easy to talk to. We recommend him and J&E to anyone looking for a plumber that does the job right.

Miguel was awesome!! The kitchen faucet & pipe under the sink was leaking at my mom's house - I had called a handful of plumbing places at around 6p at night & Miguel @ J&E Plumbing was the only one that answered. He was kind and professional & agreed to meet me at my mom's the next day to take a look & see what the issue was & give me an estimate for no charge. He was prompt & professional & respectful - he explained everything that needed to be done & the estimate was very reasonable. We agreed for him to do the job - & he was great! Explained everything to me, fixed the problem, showed me everything he did & cleaned up completely. Except for the fact that the sink no longer leaks, you would have never known he was there. Thank you Miguel & J&E Plumbing! Got you all in my phone now & know who to call for a plumber!

I had a great experience working with Miguel. He was able to troubleshoot the leak in my basement immediately and explained the issue. He replaced my water heater, repaired a leak in the main water pipe and also snakes two sinks. He is very professional, efficient, humble and explains everything in detail. Miguel is very personable. I had a leak & stoppage in my kitchen sink. Miguel arrived & was very professional & knowledgeable. The drain was not easily cleared but he was successful & gave me advice on what to do to prevent another stoppage. Also installed a new faucet. I would highly recommend this company.

We had anticipated the worst on a previous visit which would have required a lot of damages to the property, however Juan and Ian came in with some special Tatics and found a way of removing the obstruction that no one else could have done. I had to replace a main water line Outside of my house. J&E sent an extremely professional crew that worked alongside the water company to restore water to my house in only 1 day when other companies said it would take 2. The guys that did the job were polite and kind, even taking the time to answer my questions and show me what was causing the issue. They even explained the process to me and went above and beyond in preserving and restoring my yard the best they could.

My gas line was turned off by FDNY due to carbon oxide detection in my house. My boiler was old and leaking gas. I called J & E Plumbing and thy came to my house immediately. Thy told me I needed a whole new boiler. My husband and I didn't know wat we was going to do because a new boiler was going to cost us over $8k. J & E worked with us by offering us a reasonable payment plan. I got a new boiler in my house within 4 days. Thy did an exceptional job. I also called them because I had a leak under my kitchen sink. Once again thy offered us quick, reliable and excellent service. I would definitely refer J & E to anyone whose looking for a great plumbing company. They get five stars from me and my family.
